I've turned 60 since the last time I posted. I still look something like the woman in the upper right hand corner. Sort of.
I'm still married to my Hillbilly.
And Alyssa from NearNormalcy.com is still my daughter.
On the other hand, The Princess is a TEENAGER now!

THE BIGGEST NEWS IS I'VE RETIRED FROM TEACHING!
That's right! My Hillbilly and I have retired and moved to the land of his birth, Missouri. Let me tell you, that's been a big adjustment for this California girl!
I've had to get used to having views like this from my front porch!
And sometimes the neighbors come to visit.
So I think I'd like to write a few blog posts about my adventures in moving and the changes in my life. That is, if anyone is still out there? Do I have any readers? If so, would you mind just saying Hi in the comments?
It is so good to hear about your adventures! I've often wondered how you were. It looks like life has been good to you. You look great at 60! I turn 61 today- you're just a young-un!

ReplyDeleteHi Cynthia, I was looking at some of my older posts (way older!), and I saw a comment from you that I had never replied to, so I thought I'd pop over and see if you were still blogging. You had asked about a little shop in Missouri that I had blogged about. (The post is titled Missouri Vintage Sunday.) Anyway, I'm so sorry I didn't respond back then! The shop is called Old Vintage Mercantile, and it's in Caledonia, MO. It's still there! Very charming place. I hope all is well with you! Maybe you will start blogging again? :)
